Two weeks ago my sister and I traveled to Indiana for a Anabaptist Orchestra Camp (AOC). We Jeff & Deanna Swanson, from Texas. That was the most interesting trip I've ever had! I learned all sorts of things about planes, engines and propellers. This education all came from Levi, the youngest...
It definitely was not boring! Then to top it all off, the front passenger window just shattered!!!!!!!
Thankfully we got the window fixed and we were rolling about three hours later. You gotta admit that does sound really exciting and wild....
Once we got there it was so much fun! The best part of it was making new friends and seeing the old ones. It was from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, and on Sunday afternoon we gave a concert. My parents and siblings came my that and that was nice.
After the music camp we continued on down to Ohio and our destination was Nova Scotia. It was an amazing trip. In New York we stopped to to visit our grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We were with them for only four hours but for me that was better than nothing. But I'll stop there since some other people had plans to write about that. But I will say that on Sunday afternoon Maggie, me and Papa went canoeing and that was lots of fun......
In spite of all the fun we had, I still missed my brother Seth, because on September 5th it was four years ago that he was killed in an accident.... The pain is still deep, and sometimes I just wish he was here and doing the things we are doing, go to the places with us, but that is not to be.....
On Monday morning we packed up and started homewards. It almost felt good going home again
because I haven't been home for like two and half weeks. We made another stop in NewYork and we visited our other grandma. And that was fun!!!! Another stop at St Louis, Missouri for a doctors appointment and finally we got home on Thursday evening. And it soooo good sleeping in my own bed again. Sorry that was kinda of random, but that is how write I guess...
In my next post I'll try to add some pictures...
