Today we were at PETCO....What you suppose we we got?  And guess which one we got?

This is our new addition....  Isn't he the most adorable bird ever....  He was a bit scared at first and didn't move.  But he enjoys sitting on Mom's finger.

Mama is very happy about her new pet.

It's six days till Christmas! Isn't that so exciting?
Tommorrow there is a youth banquet we plan to attend. My very first one and I'm looking forward to it. And few of us are getting together to play music there and I think that will be enjoyable for everybody.
Then on Wednesday, we plan to play as a family at the Nursing Home  and at the Mennonite Manor, and we'll have  some friends singing along too. And afterwards we are going to have fun ...
On Monday we have a piano recital... and that should be interesting ... Since I don't especially enjoy playing solos
Anyway I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas! Hopefully you all have an enjoyable one ...
And I want to wish my friends in Ireland a special Merry Christmas! Miss you guys!

Nova Scotia Pictures

Okay, so here are so some of the pictures from our Nova Scotia trip......

One of the things we did was pick blueberries...
The view from the blueberry patch (happened to be all over a large-sized hill)...

The blueberries were really tiny.
The ones in the middle of the picture were some of the larger ones...

St. Mary's River about a 1 min. walk from our house.
Several of my siblings swam in it, and had a fun time (hopefully)...

Nehemiah walking to the River. He's carrying a wetsuit,
which will help him stay warmer in the water.

Ready.....Set.......
GO!!!!!!!

Sebi went canoeing while the others were swimming.

AOC, NY, Nova Scotia, and then Home Sweet Home...

Two weeks ago my sister and I traveled to Indiana for a Anabaptist Orchestra Camp (AOC). We Jeff & Deanna Swanson, from Texas. That was the most interesting trip I've ever had! I learned all sorts of things about planes, engines and propellers. This education all came from Levi, the youngest...
It definitely was not boring! Then to top it all off, the front passenger window just shattered!!!!!!!
Thankfully we got the window fixed and we were rolling about three hours later. You gotta admit that does sound really exciting and wild....

Once we got there it was so much fun! The best part of it was making new friends and seeing the old ones. It was from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, and on Sunday afternoon we gave a concert. My parents and siblings came my that and that was nice.

After the music camp we continued on down to Ohio and our destination was Nova Scotia. It was an amazing trip. In New York we stopped to to visit our grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We were with them for only four hours but for me that was better than nothing.  But I'll stop there since some other people had plans to write about that.  But I will say that on Sunday afternoon Maggie, me and Papa went canoeing and that was lots of fun......

In spite of all the fun we had, I still missed my brother Seth, because on September 5th it was four years ago that he was killed in an accident.... The pain is still deep, and sometimes I just wish he was here and doing the things we are doing, go to the places with us, but that is not to be.....

On Monday morning we packed up and started homewards. It almost felt good going home again
because I haven't been home for like two and half weeks. We made another stop in NewYork and we visited our other grandma. And that was fun!!!!  Another stop at St Louis, Missouri for a doctors appointment and finally we got home on Thursday evening.  And it soooo good sleeping in my own bed again. Sorry that was kinda of random, but that is how write I guess...

In my next post I'll try to add some pictures...

Here we are enjoying some soda that our grandpa bought for us .

Waiting with high expectations for the plane to take off!!!

This is the little food stand that we usually went to if we
were hungry.

And this is the food...... It was really good.

This is the city of Valletta, where we spent most of our time.

One time we rode the ferry to Valletta, instead of riding the bus.

Adorable boats.

This at our uncle's place. We had lots of fun
meeting all of our relatives.

A massive church. It was as beautiful as it was big .

An out door cafe
